Internships
Zygote’s internship program is essential to our organization’s mission, and interns provide ideas and energy that are crucial to our success. Zygote’s internship program provides participants with fulfilling experiences that have led to positions as gallery directors, shop technicians, contract printers, resident artists and adjunct positions in schools and universities.
Teaching Artists
Zygote Press is proud to host an amazing array of teaching artists who teach our 1 on 1 classes, as well as group printmaking classes.
Our instructors are professional teaching artists who have the desire to share their talents, perspectives and passion with the community. Our instructors offer 1 on 1 and group classes, instruction in partnering local schools, and have the opportunity to teach a unique class of their own design. Zygote’s shop is also 100% green, and we are working on developing green lithography techniques.
Applicants must have a master’s degree in printmaking or equivalent experience, and previous teaching experience with references. If you are interested in joining the Zygote community as a professional teaching artist, please send your resume and 3 references to programs@zygotepress.org.
