Overview
Zygote’s Corporate Sponsorship Program provides urgently needed funding for programs and services, such as Residency seats for artists from underrepresented communities, scholarships for studio use, and community outreach programs for local neighborhoods and schools. Corporations and businesses can contribute at levels that work with their philanthropic budget and effect meaningful change in the Cleveland arts community.
All Sponsors will be recognized through:
Logo placement and name recognition on Zygote’s website, newsletter, and social media, and on each printed Exhibition program
• Invitation for key staff to attend donor events
• Sponsorship acknowledgment letter
Zygote Press Corporate Sponsors receive all the traditional benefits—brand visibility, recognition, invitations to exclusive donor events—as well as the benefit of being included in Cleveland’s vibrant arts scene by being looped into Zygote’s network of professional artists, curators, designers and printmakers, as well as collectors, and fellow patrons of the arts.

Zygote Press is a fine art printmaking studio with a 26 year history of serving artists in the Cleveland area and around the country. And we are so much more! By offering an inclusive, collaborative space for exchanging ideas and sharing resources, Zygote Press champions cutting edge printmaking techniques, and fosters economic development in our community. Building sustained diversity in the arts through employment and leadership opportunities, are pursuits central to our mission and our vision.
For businesses that recognize and amplify these values, we offer the Zygote Corporate Sponsorship Program as a way to bring community-building creative opportunities to their staff, while supporting Zygote as a local arts nonprofit.
Sponsorship Levels
Zygote’s Sponsorship Program is designed to offer groups hands-on opportunities to make prints in an imaginative team environment. Each Sponsorship event is a unique opportunity for a business or organization to engage staff or clients in a hands-on, cultural experience at our fine art printmaking studio. Program participants will acquire new skills, make new connections with co-workers, and be inspired toward innovation. All Sponsorships are for 12 month terms. Benefits must be redeemed within those 12 months.
Apprenticeship Level $1200
Impact: Your sponsorship underwrites the cost of Zygote providing a printing activity at a public community event, such as Waterloo Arts Fest, with as many as 150 children and adults being able to make a print on our Mobile Arts Press to take home free of charge.
Emerging Artist Level $2000
Impact: Your sponsorship underwrites the instructional cost of one three-month Residency for an emerging Cleveland artist. This pivotal opportunity includes 24/7 access to equipment and facilities, 20 hours of private instruction with a teaching artist, ongoing staff support, and a one-year community membership.
Benefits: Private workshop for up to 18 employees or clients. Bring your group to Zygote’s studio or we’ll come to you!
Master Printer Level $3500
Impact: Your sponsorship underwrites one seat in Zygote’s Fellowship Program for Artists of Color. This three-month, immersive residency experience provides three Cleveland artists of Color with 24/7 access to equipment and facilities, 20 hours of private instruction with a teaching artist, ongoing staff support,and a one-year community membership. The Fellowship culminates in a team Exhibition.

• Private workshop for up to 24 employees or clients. Bring your group to Zygote’s studio or we’ll come to you!
• Complimentary refreshments for workshop participants
• Five tickets to a show-and-tell with a Zygote Artist
• Logo placement and name recognition on Zygote’s website, newsletter, and social media, and on each printed Exhibition program
• A month-long curated and installed exhibition of Zygote Artists’ work at your business location
• Invitation for key staff to attend donor events
• Sponsorship acknowledgment letter
